What does a typical session look like?
The session is very relaxed. I'll take a few minutes to say hi to everyone and explain why I'm here to the little kids. To start with I like to get moving. It helps relax everyone a little and gets out any nervous energy. After a few mins of shooting you walking and talking, we'll find a spot to gather for some group shots. I'll capture a few looking-at-camera shots, and encourage you to chat with each other, have some hugs and maybe a cuddle of the little ones! I like to read each family and keep the sessions very flexible, to adjust to any individual or family needs. The best feedback that I get is "we thought the kids were being too silly so there'd be no good images, but you captured so many beautiful moments and captured their personalities perfectly!" So relax, just be yourselves and the resulting images will be absolute gems to look back on for the rest of your lives!
